Video art
With my video art I am standing still a little longer at everyday things.
In many of my video artworks the sky is visible. I love infinity and so are many of my video works of art, endless loops. Along the way, I have also made video art with a beginning and an end. Still infinity remains, move around at a same place, so one moment becomes an experience.
Since 2007 I am with some regularity in Berlin to film there. Berlin continues to fascinate me immensely. This city has become my muse. When I'm there I let myself be guided by what I see around me, while I am walking through the streets.
In 2022 I also started taking pictures, which I occasionally post on this site. Look in the 'gallery' for this.
For several years now I have been working with two artists, Julia van Adrichem and Marijke Uittenbroek. We inspire each other. During the Leiden art route last September, 27 & 28 2025, our new joint art installation was on show.
