Ans Volkers

The encouragement prize is awarded annually to outstanding  graduates of the Royal Academy of art in the Hague. This award is made available by STROOM hcbk.

The jury wrote the following about my work: "The presentation of Ans Volkers consisted of two video works, which the jury could not ignore. What stood out were the unpretentious but no less telling images. The jury was fascinated by the mysterious act around the beautifully filmed cat door, and intrigued by the lonely walk in the shop passage ".
