Video art
With my video art I am standing still a little longer at everyday things.
In many of my video artworks the sky is visible. I love infinity and so are many of my video works of art, endless loops. Along the way, I have also made video art with a beginning and an end. Still infinity remains, move around at a same place, so one moment becomes an experience.
Since 2007 I am with some regularity in Berlin to film there. Berlin continues to fascinate me immensely. This city has become my muse. When I'm there I let myself be guided by what I see around me, while I am walking through the streets.
For several years now I am working together with two artists, Julia van Adrichem and Marijke Uittenbroek. We inspire each other. You could visit our studio during the artroute Leiden, september 26 and 27 2026. Look here for a photo-film.
